Artist Statement
My art gives me freedom to express myself through the use of different art materials and scraps objects. Most of my works are in mixed media and depict social-cultural and traditional settings in my environment and my country at large. One of my main objectives is to use my arts to make the viewers get deeper ,clearer and positive in-depth of my cultural identity.
Artist Profile / Bio
Babatunde Lawanson, a visual artist base in Lagos, Nigeria. He holds a bachelor's degree from University of Nigeria Nsukka, Enugu state. He is a member of the society of Nigerian Artists, Lagos state. He has participated national and international in different art workshops , art fairs and exhibitions. He is an art and crafts instructor and a fashion illustrator.
